Lanka Kade will only knowingly trade with businesses that comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. 

Lanka Kade undertake all reasonable and practicable steps, including frequent unannounced workshop inspections and audits to ensure that it’s ethical standards are being implemented throughout the businesses of its suppliers and that Sri Lankan legislation and regulations are complied with. 

If an instance of non-compliance should arise Lanka Kade will act immediately to agree a date specific process for full compliance, and if the business fails to comply Lanka Kade will terminate the trade agreement immediately, and without notice. 

All staff employed by Lanka Kade are subject to contracts of employment which incorporate various policies, and details the expected behaviour required. All staff are encouraged to raise any issues or concerns with senior management.
