FSC Certification

The majority of our products are made from sustainably sourced Sri Lankan rubber wood.

The rubber trees are initially tapped for their latex and once exhausted, they are felled and replanted with a new rubber tree that is able to reach maturity in as little as 13 years. We purchase the felled trees to repurpose into beautiful toys.

Lanka Kade achieved FSC Chain of Custody Certification in October 2023 with an increasing amount of our range now made from FSC certified wood. Please contact us if you wish to know about the FSC stock status of any of our products.

Lanka Kade product packaging does not currently carry the FSC logo but this may change in the future, as our stockholding of product made from FSC rubber wood increases.

A small range of our product is made from high quality MDF sourced from Indonesia. This wood is not FSC certified.
